Yes, we have a boring Peugeot from their boring era for today.

Here’s the rear view of a 607, because its front view is somewhat aesthetically challenging. This particular one has a Ford/PSA 2.7 diesel V6 like the one they used in the earlier Jaag XF. Neither Ford nor PSA use it any longer.

The 607 and 407 were replaced by the compromise 508 which doesn’t sell either.

Of all the x07 Peugeots the 607 was the least awful design wise.

I see loads of 508s in the Netherlands as well. The 508 has been a top 3 player, at the very least, in its segment here in 2011-2013.

Sales aren’t as strong nowadays anymore. The Passat sells far better this year for the first time, but is new. Insignia and Mondeo are doing marginally better, even though the Mondeo is new. That’s it, really. The 508 still easily sells better than all the Japanese and Korean midsizers, even better than the Mazda 6, which is the only competitive one of the bunch. C5, Superb and Laguna are also outsold by the 508.

Ugh. I’m not the biggest fan of the 607, but it certainly is far more handsome than that Honda. What is that? A Civic? I don’t recognize it to be honest.

I do see the likeliness.

Right. Strange how such a common car in one place is so unknown elsewhere. I simply don’t remember that one.
